The SPECHT® 400 DUO of the platform machine series is equipped with
the same column as the single spindle machines in the 600 series. The
mobile workpiece slide enables the use of long and heavy workpieces at
maximum tool side rigidity. The tool and thermal compensation in the
Z-direction is carried out by adjusting both of the Z-carriages to each other.
The large number of identical parts in the single spindle series results
in favorable machine prices, double production, and low floor space
requirements. An „economic miracle“ for small housing components and
heavy cutting.
