The high-speed machining center XHC 341 is the larger sister of the production machine XHC 241 with linear direct drive, which was introduced into the market since many years. The XHC 341 is equipped with direct drives in all machining axis, like the EX-CELL-O high-speed machining centers built since 1993; that means it is equipped with three linear feed axis as well as rotary direct drives in B axis and in the main spindle. It is primarily used for machining of aluminium parts. The axis structure, with a traversable table in Z-direction, has advantages for the machining of deep bores, as well as high-precision machining. Furthermore the axis structure with a Z-stroke of 800 mm allows a simple workpiece-loading with the Pick-Up-System.
